We are excited to announce the launch of Sustaining Life, a humble initiative co-founded by myself and my colleagues, friends, and associates. As Medical Officers at the Bhagwan Mahavir Medical Superspecialty Hospital in Ranchi, we are dedicated to providing high-quality and reliable medical consultations to the residents of Ranchi, right in the comfort of their homes.
The Meaning Behind Sustaining Life
Sustaining Life represents our commitment to promoting longevity and well-being. Our mission is to revive the concept of the family physician with personalized in-home consultation services.

The Essence of Family Medicine
Family medicine is built on an ongoing, personal relationship between the patient and physician, focusing on comprehensive and integrated care. Beyond diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses, your family physician offers routine health screenings and lifestyle counselling to prevent illnesses before they develop. Regular check-ups with a family physician can significantly contribute to maintaining good health and preventing diseases.
Why Choose In-Home Doctor Services?
Life is unpredictable, and there are times when visiting a doctor can be challenging. Whether you are feeling too weak to leave your home, have a schedule conflict, or have an elderly family member with limited mobility, Sustaining Life is here to help. We bring medical consultations and treatments to you, ensuring you receive the care you need without having to leave your home. Our services include assessment, diagnosis, and treatment tailored to your specific needs.

Is Ayurdad a proper noun, or a generic name, like Ayurved?

It’s not a generic name like Ayurveda… Āyurdad (आयुर्दद्) is derived from [=āyur-dad] [from āyur > āyu] and Dad (दद्).—(like dadate) meaning To give, offer, present.
